I grew up in Vandalia, Ohio during the 50s, 60s and early 70s. I grew up in an interesting family. My Mom certified as an NRA Rifle Safety Instructor in 1964 and was the City of Vandalia’s Rifle Club Leader for several years. My father work for the local Electric and Gas Utility Company as the Third Generation of our Family to do so. He was also a Boy Scout Scoutmaster for eight years and had 9 young man become Eagle Scouts, I being the first. I graduated High School in 1972 and attended Georgia Tech in Aerospace Engineering and then Wright State University in Quantity Business Analysis. In 1973, I went to work for the Local Electric and Gas Company (the fourth generation) and got married a week later. Pam and I were married for 32 years before her death on our Anniversary weekend. During that time, we raised two sons who graduated from the University of Dayton with a Law Degree and a Master in business. Pam was starting her Masters after receiving her Bachelor’s when she was 50. I remarried in 2008 and moved to rural Darke County Ohio from the Dayton, Ohio metropolitan area. I retired after 40 years from the Utility Company in 2013 and the next week, started certifying to become a Life and Health Insurance Agent. Since then, I have specialized in being a Medicare Agent/Consultant while offering our other Insurance lines in Life and Supplemental Health. The Service we really became most excited to offer our clients and other people were the Legal Shield Plans. Legal Plans for Individuals, Families and Small Businesses and the Identity Theft Individual and Family Plans. The need for them in 2013 was great, but with the current financial environment the need for the services these plans offer are vital. I always enjoyed giving Quality Customer Service to the customers at the Utility Company and have continued that tradition to my Insurance and Legal Shield Businesses.
