Chris Linger is one of the founders of Xcelerated Biz Coaching, a virtual assistant agency, and the founder of Up Plex Multifamily. He is married to Maricela, who is also his business partner. Together, they have three adult daughters and two grandchildren, Skylar and Kyle.

They launched Up Plex Capital LLC, a private real estate firm, and are Accredited Real Estate Investors. With a personal portfolio valued at over $100 million, they’ve created significant passive income for themselves and their investors by identifying top-performing properties in today’s market.

They’re passionate about mentoring and coaching others to scale their businesses and build profitable real estate portfolios.

Chris brings 26 years of military experience, where he managed 8-figure budgets, led teams of over 100 people, and mentored hundreds. He holds Lean Six Sigma training and an MBA.

Like many of their investors, they started with a small rental portfolio. Over time, they built a portfolio valued at $4.5 million and began the disposition process in 2020 to transition into larger Commercial Real Estate assets: Apartment Syndications, Mobile Home Parks, Self Storage, Private Lending, and Real Estate Notes.

They initially invested passively in over 1,200 syndicated apartment units across five states. In 2021, they became General Partners (GPs) and began mentoring aspiring investors. By 2022, their multifamily portfolio under management surpassed $290 million, totaling over 2,900 apartment units.

Chris is also committed to giving back through medical missions, providing anesthesia services and other support to underserved communities.
